A great little cabin, on a creek, in the forest! How cool is that? What youâll find is an authentic, quaint âœforest landâ cabin. Yes, itâs small, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in charm. The quiet tranquility of the cedar and sugar pine forest is just the balm for our busy lives. When you sit on the deck, drinking in the cool mountain air, you can hear the creek bubbling as it passes only a few yards behind the cabin. In the evening, you can gather the family around the firepit to make sâmores and sing camp songs. It sounds nostalgic, because it is! You will be building those wonderful family memories for your children and grandchildren. The cabin sits on Lot 52 in the Leland Creek section of the Stanislaus National Forest and is one of the best lots in the section. Close nearby are Leland Meadows and Dodge Ridge for wintertime fun and Pinecrest Lake, Beardsley Reservoir, etc. for summer vacations. There are hiking trails galore and plenty of areas to ride your ATVs or Snowmobiles. The cabin itself is charming. The solid knotty pine clad walls and open beam ceilings give it that true mountain cabin feel as well as demonstrate how well this cabin is built. The first floor is one large great room with living, dining and kitchen space. There is a small bath off the family area and a sleeping loft upstairs. The loft is accessed by a nice set of stairs that is pulled down when in use and tucked neatly between two ceiling joists when not. The sleeping loft is spacious with a king bed on one end and twin beds on the other. The cabin comes completely furnished and is outfitted with everything you need to move right in â“ even a BBQ and table with benches on the deck. Thereâs also quite a bit of secure storage area under the house and deck that is accessed by a large sliding âœbarnâ door. Previous owners have used this area to store any number of things including their motorized toys. The Leland Creek HOA ($200/yr.) manages the water system and makes repairs to systems and in the area as needed. Because the cabin is on National Forest land, only the cabin is for sale, not the land itself. All in all, this cabin could be just what the active family craves. Itâs isolated enough to provide relaxation, but close enough to the small towns in the area for provisions and entertainment.
